Edward Hines Drive (18 miles) One of our favorite rides, we use it for a short evening ride during the week. (since its close to the house) Edward Hines Drive is part of the Wayne County Park System. 18 Miles of blacktop road, (not in to bad of shape for Michigan roads) winding through a lake filled wooded park. Plenty of areas to stop and picnic or whatever? Starting at Ford Road, Dearborn and ending at 7 mile rd, Northville, the park is open most days, sometimes closed due to flooding after heavy rains. (flood plain for the Rouge River) In the summer from 9am to 330pm from Outer Drive to Ann Arbor Trail the drive is closed for motored traffic. Theres not many traffic lights on the drive so you can keep your feet on the pegs for quite awhile, Considering this is in the middle of a highly populated area. Enjoy the Ride
7 Mile / Whitmore Lake/N. Territorial Loop (35 miles) Can be combined with the Hines Drive Ride above Starting at 7 Mile Rd, Northville riding west towards Whitmore Lake, nice country road ends at the Lake. Turn left at Lake Shore Dr. taking it to Main, left on Main to 6 Mile Road. Make a right on 6 Mile, over the highway make a left at Whitmore Lake Rd. taking it to N. Territorial Rd, make a left another nice country road. Take it to Beck rd. turn left and back to 7 Mile.
Howell, MI (38 miles) Good ride, usually we make it a dinner ride. Just follow the map, a few good places to eat downtown in Howell. Decent roads and light traffic most days, especially weekends.
Huron River Drive (13 miles) It's a short ride , but this is a curvy park road runing along the Huron River. Nice senic drive , even though the south end is under construction right now. still a good ride.
